Resistance Does Not Care
I'm loosely paraphrasing Steven Pressfield's wonderful book "The War of Art."
This morning I decided to start re-reading this great book, as I couldn't seem to sleep in past 5am! The restlessness is good and I feel lucky to be able to enjoy it today!
Dena and I just finished a big 30 day of decluttering (more coverage on this soon). Yesterday I also had to return a few "dog care items" to a few stores. The deadline for return was fast approaching and I didn't really want to do it last night, but then again, I just needed to rip off the proverbial adhesive strip.
In Steven's book, page 12, he says "...the more important a call or action is to our soul's evolution, the more Resistance we will feel toward pursuing it."
Now, I'm not saying returning a few items to a store is that great of an accomplishment, but it has given me some clarity for the things I do want to accomplish in the next weeks ahead.
