Unintentional Littering

I just listened to a great podcast this morning by Seth Godin about littering

It is interesting how many systems we have that contribute to littering in our world. Single use items, fast food, cigarettes, homelessness and the excessive "consumption" in general.

The overall consensus in Seth's podcast is that our single use and fast food industry is behind such campaigns as "Don't Be A Litterbug." Seth notes that the industry itself is a big part of the problem.

Maybe just using one really nice water bottle is better than recycling all the time to try to feel good about the recycling fiasco. Just a personal thought...

By the way, I'm not against recycling. It's just that the industry is perpetuating the constant "need" to recycle, because we have too much crap in the first place!

Anyway, have a nice Tuesday and I'll see ya tomorrow!
